General information

This privacy policy describes how SIA "AAMTMC", the STNIG driving school, processes the personal data it receives through this website. We process data under the General Data Protection Regulation and Latvian law.

It applies to stnig.lv and the forms on it. It does not cover data given in person at the school or by phone, although the same principles apply there too.

What data we receive

We receive data only when you fill in the application form yourself. Simply browsing the website requires no data from you.

• First name and surname
• Personal code and passport or ID card number, needed to register you with the CSDD
• Phone number
• Email address
• The category and group you chose
• Preferred format (in class or online) and a comment, if you add one
• The time you confirmed your consent
• The page the application was sent from, and the language

Why we process it

To contact you about training, confirm your place in a group and register you in a study group with the CSDD. We do not use the data for advertising and do not pass it to third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

• The website does not store applications. The completed form is turned into an email and sent to the school, and nothing from it remains on the website.
• The application email arrives in the school mailbox, where the retention period is set by the school.
• Your IP address is not stored — we keep an irreversibly hashed value instead, and only for 30 days, to protect the form from abuse.

Where the data is stored

Application data is not stored on the website. It passes through Resend, our email delivery provider, which handles it in the European Union (Ireland), and arrives in the school mailbox. The website database, located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), holds only the lesson schedule, which contains no personal data.

How we protect the data

• The connection to the website is encrypted, and data travels encrypted.
• The website does not accumulate applications, so there is no list on it for anyone to steal.
• The forms are protected against automated abuse without using a CAPTCHA.
• Your IP address is not stored; an irreversibly hashed value is kept instead.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. On this website they fall into two groups.

• Necessary cookies: your language choice if you changed it, the administrator session for staff signing in to the management panel, and your answer to the cookie notice. The site cannot work without them, so they are not asked about separately.
• Statistics cookies: visit analytics in Google Analytics. They are enabled only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice. If you choose "Decline", the analytics script is not loaded at all.
• There are no advertising cookies, social network tracking pixels or third-party ad scripts on this website.

How to refuse cookies

Choose "Decline" in the cookie notice and no statistics cookies are set. You can change your answer at any time with the button below.

You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, or use private browsing, where they are removed when you close the window.
